Where has summer gone? It's already August and I think I have seen the sun a total of five times all summer. I spent a wonderful weekend visiting old friends, but the constant fog made the visit feel like October rather than August. It was a good excuse to see two movies: "The Kids Are All Right" and "The Girl Who Played With Fire." I recommend both movies, but suggest reading the Swedish thriller before seeing the film. Hollywood has big shoes to fill with their remake.

Daniel Craig is a baller though. I have hope for Hollywood. It will have a different feel for sure. The guy doing the screen play also has done some amazing work. It'll be interesting to compare the two.
