Before and After

I think before and after shots are much more inspiring than looking through image upon image of perfectly styled living spaces.  I love seeing "before" shots, and thinking...my dwelling looks like that... and I hate it.  Well, you will hate no more after looking at these wonderful before and after shots of Viv's laundry room, basement studio, and upstairs office.

Subtle changes are the key to this transformation.  By simply changing the hardware on the cupboards from dark to light, the doors seem more refined and sleek.  Also notable upgrades are the wallpaper in the bath, and the wicker storage units.

Although no one will be able to admire the lovely work you do to fix up the inside of a closet, you will no longer get the shivers every time you open it.  Adding wallpaper to the back, and painting the unit white transforms a scary looking closet into something you can't wait to open.

Too many changes to note.  You have to admit this looks 1,000x better.

I am coveting black walls right now.  When paired with a light infused room, the look is stunning.

  1. that looks amazing! I have always loved the idea of framing wallpaper (the photo with the desk area) and this just confirms that I need to do that!

  2. I know! The layering effect gives the room so much more dimension!
